You may turn to the Student Counseling Center at moments when student life becomes challenging for you. Talking to someone can make problems easier to overcome. Our counselling covers a variety of problems affecting studies, such as family problems, breaking up a relationship, anxieties, depressions, sadness, grief, or long term illness.

Our services for international students include information meetings and workshops. We provide vital information to help you get by in the Norwegian society. You can come to us for information about: Norwegian culture and society, Norwegian health system, public services and bureaucracies, economy and budgeting, family reunifications, student housing and child care places, holiday visas to other countries, climate and nutrition, leisure activities in Tromsø, etc. In addition, we offer some social events for international students.
